Horizon Components is an independent global sourcing organization and electronic component distributor, with offices in Belgium, Hungary, and Bulgaria. We serve manufacturers worldwide across four critical sectors: Military & Defense, Industrial Automation, Electric Vehicles, and Electro-Medical Equipment. Our portfolio includes active and passive electronic components, electromechanical devices, and military and civilian circular connectors — all sourced from qualified manufacturers and verified to the strictest industry standards. We are not tied to a single brand or franchise agreement. That independence is what lets us go wherever the part actually is, instead of where a contract says it should be.

Our sourcing network
Where the parts actually come from
Independence only works if the network behind it is real. Most of what we ship comes straight from original manufacturers; the rest of our channels exist to cover what the direct route can no longer supply.
Stock and delivery time
A large number of parts is held in spot stock in our warehouses in Belgium and the Far East, so qualified material can leave quickly instead of waiting on a production slot.
Direct from the original factory — the shortest and most traceable route.
Authorised agents, our second channel by volume.
Used selectively where a distributor holds what the factory no longer produces.
Verified surplus stock — often the only remaining source for an obsolete part.

In our sectors a single non-conforming part can compromise a whole system. Every incoming component is inspected in house, and third-party testing is available on request whenever a program requires independent evidence.

Internal inspection
Outer box, inner box, inner packaging and parts are checked one by one:
- Bar code scanning and cross-check against the order
- Marking verified against the manufacturer datasheet
- Visual check for oxidation, bent pins, deformed or re-soldered solder balls and surface scratches
- Die, adhesive and gold wire consistency checked on both sides of the IC
External inspection
When a qualification or an audit calls for independent proof, we route the material to accredited third-party laboratories:
- Testing by recognised independent laboratories
- Formal inspection reports issued for your quality file
- Certificates of conformity and full lot traceability with every shipment
- Documentation structured to support your qualification and regulatory processes
